Creating videos of one day hikes

The idea for the @onedayhiking video project came from the desire to do hikes that can be done during one day. One day hiking captures different places in nature that can be visited during one day.

In the first phase of the One Day Hiking video project, I created a logo for the project using vector graphics software. The colour palette was chosen to be green, representing the northern nature. The font was chosen so that it was clear, but also naturally soft.

Creating videos is inpiring because capturing movement also requires concentration on the soundscape. Sometimes I use a separate audio recorder to get high-quality sound in my videos. Moreover, videos capture memories and at the same time provide information. For example, a video from Korouoma reminds us of the importance of taking water with you to put out a fire.
